The LA Opera has announced a cast change for its production of “Rigoletto.” Kathryn Lewek will sing the role of Gilda June 18 through 21, replacing Rosa Feola, who was originally scheduled. She is set to join a cast that includes Quinn Kelsey, René Barbera, Blake Denson, Peixin Chen, and Sarah Saturnino. James Conlon conducts the production by Tomer Zvulun. These performances come just days after Kathryn makes her Gilda debut with the Cincinnati Opera (June 12–14).
